The cabins are simple but clean, with light insulation and a chic camping vibe and some rooms come with a private balcony overlooking the river and the forest.

Take advantage of the free kayaks to explore the river or paddle along the coastline. Then, pick your next adventure: a trip to the Rio Jovi, exploring Termales, catching some waves, walking the stunning local beaches, or sipping Viche with the neighbors. Depending on the season, you might also spot whales, turtles, or even whale sharks.

What to expect

An escape into nature between the forest, the river, and the ocean

Picture yourself crossing a wooden bridge to reach your cabin hidden in the greenery. From your balcony, you hear the birds and the river, and the Pacific Ocean is waiting just a few steps away.

For 4 or 5 days, hike to the Cascada del Amor, stroll along the black sand beaches, visit the village of Termales, or hop in a kayak straight from the eco-lodge. The team can also help you set up activities like whale watching (July to October), spotting sea turtles (August to February), surfing, or a dugout canoe ride on the Rio Jovi.

- Recommended stay: 4 days minimum to fully enjoy the experience.

- Best seasons to keep in mind:
- Surf: all year round with the best waves from May to November
- Whale watching: July to October
- Turtles watching: August to February
- Whale sharks: April to May

- Tides: essential to plan some hikes and activities.

- No ATMs in Nuquí: Bring enough cash before you leave.

- Transfers: included between the Nuquí airport and the ecolodge.

- Activities: organized on-site, paid in cash directly to the ecolodge.

- Flights: available from Medellín all year long, and from Pereira only during Whale season.

- Protect your stuff: you may get wet on the boat from Nuquí to the ecolodge or when stepping off onto the beach. Wear clothes that can get wet.

- Meals: included with a single set menu daily - dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

- Local tax: 39,000 COP/person, to be paid in cash at Nuquí airport.
