No constraints are imposed during your stay. You can do what you want, according to your mood and energy.

When you arrive in this haven of peace, meet your guide. He or she will orchestrate all the activities that interest you. The guides come from the local community and know the area inside out, having lived in the jungle all their lives.

Create lasting memories in this unique setting by meeting the neighboring community and discovering their customs, traditions, stories, and crafts.

If you're feeling adventurous, spend a night in the jungle to listen to the sounds of the forest dwellers and feel the power of its energy. A Mike Horn-style excursion lasting several days is a must for the more intrepid.

Animal watching is another fascinating pastime in the Amazon. Pink dolphins, spiders, toucans, and other colorful birds, monkeys, and caimans might appear.

The flora is just as impressive, and the majestic Ceiba is its symbol. In just three days there, you're unlikely to get bored.

Important information

In this option, you sleep in a private cabin with views over the river.
4 days is the minimum we recommend to enjoy this experience.
However, you can choose the length of your stay: 3 days minimum, and there is no maximum.
The eco-lodge is in the middle of the primary jungle, far from any large town.
Everything is included. Once you've booked, you can put your wallet away and enjoy the activities, meals, drinks, and your personal guide.
A local guide is assigned to each eco-lodge booking group, even if you're traveling alone. They speak Spanish and Portuguese.
Volunteers stay in the ecolodge. They work as free translators for groups who so wish. They speak English but rarely French. Remember to leave them a tip.
Take the right flights. Arriving in Leticia before 2pm means you can be transferred to the ecolodge the same day. Similarly, a return flight after 12 noon means you can leave the ecolodge in the morning.
There are reduced rates for minors. They vary according to age. Mention this to your expert when you talk to him.
The eco-lodge is in Brazil. You'll need to go through migration, so check whether you need a special visa to go to this country.

What's included

The accommodation you chose: either the standard cabin (option C) or the premium cabin (option D).
Absolutely all the logistics from the moment you arrive in Leticia until the moment you leave, whether you arrive by plane or boat or are already in a hotel in the city.

The prices on the page correspond to a 4d/3n stay with "option C," the standard private cabin: traditional wooden construction, palm-leaf roof, bathroom, and private balcony. There is no electricity.
You can add comfort to your accommodation by choosing "option D", the private premium cabin: solid construction, bathroom, private balcony, electricity, and fans. Ask your expert for prices.
Dormitory rooms with hammocks (option A) or mattresses (option B) are available as a more economical option. See the other activity vignette corresponding to these two less expensive options.

Extra:

The canopy tour is the only activity of the thirty or so on offer that requires an extra charge. It requires special equipment and guides.

The round trip by boat is long, even very long, depending on the season (3-5 hours), but that's part of the adventure and why we recommend 4 days minimum.
Although premium for such an isolated location, the accommodation and facilities are fairly basic. They are, however, perfectly functional.
There can be a lot of mosquitoes as anywhere in the Amazon, and the ambient humidity can be hard to bear.
