What to expect
Your adventure begins at the Inírida airport, where the guide will be waiting to take you to the hotel.
After dropping off your belongings, you'll head to the Kenke Natural and Cultural Park for a typical lunch and some delightful culinary discoveries.
In the afternoon, learn about ancient hunting and fishing techniques in a fun way, along with local plants, including the Inírida flower.
If conditions allow, you can swim in the stunning orange waters in the jungle and enjoy a beautiful sunset before returning to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Head to the Estrella Fluvial early in the morning. Several rivers converge in a stunning display of color and power.
If the season allows, you can swim in the red waters of the Atabapo River and relax on its white sand beaches.
After a delicious typical lunch in Amanaven, set sail towards the majestic Cerros de Mavecure, admiring birds and pink dolphins along the way.
Once you arrive at the Cerros, visit the El Remanso community at the foot of Cerro Pajarito.
At the end of the day, after setting up camp—either by the river or in one of the indigenous communities, depending on the season—enjoy the view of the jungle and the towering cerros.
In the evening, share a meal with the locals, who will show you how they process cassava, a staple of their diet.
At dawn, climb to the top of Cerro Mavecure.
The scents of the vegetation and the peacefulness of the area accompany you on your ascent, leading to a breathtaking panoramic view of the jungle and the neighboring Cerros, Cerro Mono, and Cerro Pajarito.
The place is truly magical, rejuvenating, and perfect for contemplation.
After this intense experience, you can relax on the white sand beaches of Caño San Joaquin (depending on the season) and swim in its red/orange-colored waters.
Have lunch in the El Remanso community, then explore the area with a local inhabitant who will guide you.
After a good breakfast, get ready for an easy 3-hour walk through the heart of the jungle. A local guide will introduce you to the colorful fruits and seeds of the Amazon.
At the end of this walk around Cerro Pajarito, a boat will be waiting to take you to a relaxing and refreshing break at Caño San Joaquín.
Enjoy your final lunch in the El Remanso community before heading back to Inírida. On the way, a special stop is planned to observe the famous freshwater dolphins.
If water levels permit, you’ll have access to Laguna de Las Brujas and enjoy a spectacular sunset to top off the day before returning to the hotel.
Depending on your flight time and the season, you can choose between three activities to end your trip: exploring the mysterious Witch's Lagoon, swimming in the waters of Caño Vitina, or visiting the El Paujil market.
After the activity, you’ll head to the airport for your return flight.
