What to expect
A driver will be waiting for you upon your arrival at Bahia Solano Airport. After a 40-minute tuk-tuk ride, you'll discover your eco-lodge and the environment where you'll be staying.
At the entrance, you'll find the reception, the bar, and the bonfire area, all with sea views. Follow the gravel paths that meander through the grass, plants, and trees. These paths lead to the individual cabins, the "tortugarium," the natural pool, the trail to the lookout point, the nature reserve, and the stunning platform where the restaurant is located.
Situated on the beautiful Playa El Almejal, this establishment features a private nature reserve that extends into the jungle and offers top-notch facilities for the area. In this remarkable natural setting, with the ocean on one side and dense forest on the other, you'll create unforgettable memories.
Humpback whales can be observed by boat, but you can also spot them from the shore, particularly from the eco-lodge's lookout point. This spectacle is always enchanting and moving. The area is still sparsely visited, allowing you the privilege of following these mammals with very few boats around.
The cetaceans are not the only tourist attraction in the area. Walks on the vast black sand beaches, surrounded by lush jungle and the blue ocean, will leave you in awe.
With the on-site teams, plan the activities included in your package and decide how to organize your free time to rest or schedule other experiences on the Pacific Coast.
Near the eco-lodge, you can observe wildlife, paddle up a river by canoe and float back down on a tube, explore the jungle in search of brightly colored frogs, surf, appreciate the authenticity of El Valle village, walk on the vast Cuevita Beach, or learn about turtles.
A bit farther away, discover the famous Utria Park and its wooden boardwalk through the mangroves, the island with Playa Blanca and its snorkeling spot, Tigre Waterfall and its aquatic trail, and the stunning Playa Juna with its river that flows into the virgin forest.
