The classic excursion to Guajira

Set off on a 3-day adventure to discover the highlights of the desert.

Start with the salines of Manaure, have lunch by the sea at Cabo de La Vela, enjoy a panoramic view at Pilón de Azúcar, and then a swim on the nearby beaches. A 2nd night at Punta Gallinas will allow you to appreciate Bahia Hondita's beauty, the magical landscape of the Taroa dunes, and the extraordinary viewpoints. On your way back, enjoy a last relaxing break on Mayapo Beach.

The program

D1: Cabo de la Vela and surroundings

The first stop is Manaure, a fishermen's village known for its beautiful salines. After a brief pause in Uribia, you'll arrive in Cabo de la Vela.
There, you will enjoy a lunch by the sea before exploring the beautiful sites of Punta Arcoíris, Pilón de Azúcar, Playa Ojo de Agua, and the lighthouse.

D2: Punta Gallinas and its gems

You'll go to Punta Gallinas, passing by the Jepirachi aeolian farm, Bahia Portete and Bahia Honda.

At Punta Gallinas, you'll be amazed by the Taroa dunes and visit the Punta Gallinas lighthouse.

The day ends at a Wayuu farm, offering breathtaking views of Bahia Hondita.

D3 : Back to Riohacha

Time for the return trip, with a last lunch in Uribia or on the beach at Mayapo. You should arrive in Riohacha around 4pm, full of unforgettable memories.
